I felt an immediate attraction to clay. I am excited about the endless possibilities open to me working in clay. I find joy by exploring ideas through clay that are inspired by things I encounter in daily life, such as the movement of trees blowing in the wind and textures found in nature. Every experience in clay prompts me to think of other directions I can take. I am not intimidated by the possibility of failure, and am passionate about continuing to experiment in order to develop new ideas and techniques. I see the future, with clay in my life, as exciting.
