"Quartet (Slinky x2): Series YK". Inspired by the helical toy, the Slinky.
Slab-built stoneware formulated and mixed in the studio with coarse and medium grog, iron and manganese oxides & other fillers. The Piece was sponged off when bone dry to expose more grog and oxides prior to firing to let the beauty of the materials enrich the work.

All items in the "Storytime!" show are for sale, but must remain for the duration of the exhibition at both Piedmont Craftsmen Gallery and then The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History. The Mount Airy show runs through October 18, 2025. We'll be happy to make arrangements for pick-up or shipping after Oct 18th.
