Wood is a tactile material, and John Wesley Williams’s furniture designs are a bold and assertive exploration of that quality. This is not furniture that sits quietly in the corner. These one-of-a-kind pieces are composed of domestic hardwoods and some exotics, constructed by time honored techniques. Each piece of furniture he builds is in some way an evolution of details or ideas from pieces that came before, giving his work the energy that comes from constant exploration.
