I have been making floor cloths since 1979. My designs are primarily about color and shape. I am always looking at a color and how it relates to the next color. My images come from my personal life. I am trying to capture myself in my paintings. I am influenced by the exuberance in children’s art where color is used simply for the joy of personal expression. My work continues to bring me pleasure and hopefully that is passed on to the viewer.
