Why Support Piedmont Craftsmen?

As a non-profit organization, Piedmont Craftsmen relies on donations from individuals and groups. Your support means that we can continue to grow and evolve as a guild that creates opportunities and experiences for artists, lovers of fine craft, and our community.

Exhibitions

Every year, we present about 6 shows in our Trade Street gallery, featuring a variety of work in different media, with varying techniques and styles, and focusing on different themes. We also stage workplace exhibitions around the Triad, and occasionally we mount off-site exhibitions in partnership with other groups.

Educational Programming

We present demonstrations at our annual Craftsmen Fair, and bring fine craft instruction to public school classrooms and to under served populations with the support of grants from foundations and grants, and individual support helps us match those funds to cover our administrative costs.

Your contributions make it possible to showcase exceptional craftsmanship, support working artists, and create a meaningful experience for our community. Because of you, our craft fair remains vibrant, relevant, and going strong year after year.

Community Engagement

We are excited to use your support to build new cultural initiatives. In craft, there are so many opportunities to explore the cultural beginnings of fiber, clay, wood, metal and any other medium.
