Broadview Heights, OH | Provisional Artist 2026
I create "airy and flowing designs" with botanical inspirations and colorful components that resonate with my upbringing in Cuba. I hand-fabricate jewelry using silver, gold, and gemstones. My process begins with fusing gold to a silver sheet. I hand-draw abstract designs and botanical elements, including leaves and flowers, on sheet metal. Through various processes, including sawing, filing, soldering, roller texturing, forming, and carving, I assemble the components. The pieces are soldered, cleaned, stones set, polished and burnished. My jewelry is wearable, feminine, colorful, and timeless, with botanical inspirations. My goal is to continue to amaze my collectors with new creations and continue to evolve as a craftsperson.
