"Rivers and Roads" kite. This kite was created from a photo double exposure (made monochrome) of two aerial landscape images. I've always been fascinated by seeing the world below (airplane window seat ALWAYS). For this "Study in Maps" show, I thought about the choices we make and the roads, or routes, we choose.
Recently I came to the realization that I often approach life and artmaking like jumping in a river. I don't know where it'll lead, but a river always finds its way. I love the journey and the unexpected things I stumble upon.
