"The Hoozals Sound the Call". Mixed-Media, made from gourds, clay and acrylic paint.
With his wide range of stories and whacky, whimsical illustrations, Doctor Seuss books were always a favorite of mine. I respect Dr. Seuss as a creator too. He was a well known environmental and political activist and he used his talents for the greater good. I wanted to continue his legacy with my own characters, complete with an illustrated story of their own.

**PLEASE NOTE. All items in the "Storytime!" show are for sale, but must remain for the duration of the exhibition at both Piedmont Craftsmen Gallery and then The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History. The Mount Airy show runs through October 18, 2025. We'll be happy to make arrangements for pick-up or shipping after Oct 18th.
